Essential Travel Documents and Vehicle Requirements

Passport Validity:
Your passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of travel. Travelers with passports nearing expiration may be denied entry at the border.

UAE Residency:
UAE residents must carry a valid Emirates ID and residency card to be eligible for a free entry visa at the border checkpoint.

Rental Vehicles:
If you are driving a rented car, a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the rental company is mandatory. Please ensure the NOC clearly states permission to cross the Oman border.

Vehicles on Finance or Bank Loan:
Vehicles under a bank loan or financing agreement are not allowed to cross the border unless prior written permission is obtained from the financing bank.

Original Mulkiya (Car Registration Card):
The original car registration card (Mulkiya) must be presented at the border post. Photocopies or digital copies are not accepted.

Vehicle Ownership:
The vehicle owner must be present during the border crossing. If you are driving a vehicle that is not registered under your name, an authorization letter from the owner is required.
