Reporting Time – 09:30 AM
If you’re coming from Dubai, please leave before 06:00 AM as the drive to Khasab Musandam, Oman takes around 3.5 hours, including border processing. Upon arrival, report to the Xplore Musandam Tours office by 09:30 AM. Our friendly staff will brief you about the dhow cruise and beach camping arrangements before transferring you to the Khasab dhow port.
Dhow Cruise Departure – 10:00 AM
Your full-day dhow cruise departs promptly at 10:00 AM. As you step aboard, enjoy a warm Omani welcome with fresh fruits, tea, coffee, and soft drinks. Relax on the traditional wooden dhow as we begin sailing through the stunning Musandam fjords.
Dolphin Watching – 10:45 AM
Watch nature’s most joyful creatures — wild dolphins — swimming and racing alongside your dhow. It’s an unforgettable sight and a highlight of the Musandam experience, so keep your cameras ready!
Snorkeling at Telegraph Island – 11:30 AM
Our first stop is the historic Telegraph Island, one of the best snorkeling spots in Oman. Dive into the clear turquoise waters, explore colorful marine life, and soak up the serene surroundings. Swimming and snorkeling here are must-do experiences for every visitor.
Snorkeling gear, life jackets, and towels are provided onboard for your comfort.
Traditional Omani Lunch on Board – 01:00 PM
Enjoy a freshly prepared traditional Omani lunch served onboard, featuring fried chicken or fish, rice, Arabic bread, hummus, salad, and soft drinks. Vegetarian or special meal requests can be arranged for private tours.
Snorkeling at Seebi Island – 02:15 PM
After lunch, we cruise toward Seebi Island, another perfect location for snorkeling and swimming. Feed the friendly tropical fish and take in the beauty of Musandam’s calm, crystal waters.
Arrival at Beach Campsite – 04:00 PM
Around 04:00 PM, we’ll reach our private beach campsite. Here, your dhow cruise ends, and the beach camping fun begins. Our team will welcome you, help you settle in, and guide you through the evening’s activities.
BBQ Dinner Under the Stars – 07:00 PM
As the sun sets, gather around the campfire for a delicious BBQ dinner. Enjoy freshly grilled chicken, fish, beef kebabs, rice, and salad. If the weather allows, the BBQ will be live-cooked on-site, adding to the authentic outdoor experience.
Spend the night relaxing, listening to music, playing games, or simply watching the stars light up the night sky.
Breakfast by the Beach – 07:30 AM
Wake up to a refreshing beachside breakfast served at the campsite, including bread, boiled eggs, jam, yogurt, bottled juices, tea, and coffee — the perfect start to your morning.
Spend the night relaxing, listening to music, playing games, or simply watching the stars light up the night sky.
Return to Khasab – 08:30 AM
After breakfast, we’ll transfer you back to Khasab dhow port by speedboat. The Khasab Musandam beach camping tour ends around 08:30 AM, leaving you with unforgettable memories of Oman’s hidden paradise.
Important Things to Know Before You Go
Before joining our Musandam tours, please review the important travel and border-crossing requirements below to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience.
- Oman Visit Visa: A single-entry Oman visit visa costs 5 OMR per passport, and there is a UAE exit fee of 35 AED per person.
- Visa Options: You can apply for the visa online at or obtain it on arrival at the border.
- Visa Eligibility: Please check your visa eligibility before booking, as not all nationalities or visa types qualify for an on-arrival visa.
- Passport Validity: Your passport must be valid for at least 90 days from the tour date to receive a visa on arrival.
- UAE Residents: Both passport and UAE residence visa must be valid for more than 90 days from the travel date.
- Original Passport: You must carry your original passport to cross the border — photocopies or digital versions are not accepted.
- Car Ownership: If you’re driving your own vehicle, carry your vehicle registration card (Mulkia) to obtain border insurance if it’s not already covered.
- Rented Cars: If you’re using a rental car, you must have a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the rental company to cross the border. Without it, the car will not be allowed to proceed.
Booking and Cancellation Policy
Children Policy:
Kids below 5 years can join for free. Children aged 5 to 10 years are charged half price, and above 10 years are charged the full rate.
Cancellation Policy:
You can cancel your tour up to 24 hours before departure with no charges, and we’ll issue a full refund of your deposit. Cancellations made within 24 hours of departure are non-refundable, and deposits cannot be carried forward to future bookings. If you fail to appear for the trip for any reason, the booking will be considered a no-show, and no refund will be provided.
